Dental Implants

Dental Implants at Diestel Dental Group, Hong Kong

Fixed replacements for missing or damaged teeth using Straumann implants, planned with in-house 3D CBCT scanning for accurate placement.

What they are

A dental implant is a small titanium or zirconia post that replaces the root of a missing tooth and supports a crown, bridge or denture that looks and functions like a natural tooth. We use Straumann implants (Switzerland), available in grade-4 titanium, Roxolid® or zirconia to suit each case.

Planning and placement

Our in-house 3D CBCT scanners give a detailed view of your jaw and teeth, so your dentist can plan and place implants with precision. We offer single, multiple and full-arch replacement.

Full-arch options

If you have lost most or all of your teeth, a full-arch solution such as All-on-4 can secure a fixed set of teeth on a small number of implants.

Frequently asked questions

Am I suitable for implants?
Most healthy adults with enough bone are suitable; a CBCT scan lets us check. Where bone is limited, procedures such as bone grafting or a sinus lift can help.
How long does implant treatment take?
It usually spans a few months to allow the implant to integrate with the bone, though timelines vary by case.
Do implants feel like real teeth?
Once complete, implant-supported teeth look, feel and function much like natural teeth, and are cared for with normal brushing and flossing.

Care for this treatment is available across our five Hong Kong clinics.
